FUNNEL has been deliberately constructed to minimize the amount of time and effort required to build, erect and maintain web sites, which translates into both immediate and ongoing savings for FUNNEL clients. With FUNNEL, savings are realized through efficient implementation of your project (upfront costs), and the true ability for you to maintain your project with no in-house technical skills. Savings also apply to FUNNEL clients who prefer to ‘call in’ their changes because any fees associated with site changes from your service provider will be lower with FUNNEL than with other systems, or no system at all.

FUNNEL does not require any special equipment or software. All FUNNEL projects can be administered from any internet enabled computer in the world. There is no software to install. Work from the office, from home or while you are away on business. FUNNEL is always there. FUNNEL recommends:

1. On a PC: FUNNEL recommends FireFox. Internet Explorer works as well.
2. On a MAC: FireFox.

Yes. FUNNEL is designed to support any web compliant web design. Your FUNNEL service provider can include designs from other providers, or even templates that conform to FUNNEL technical specifications (which are HTML and CSS based).

Apple computer users can manage all of their FUNNEL projects with FireFox. (Safari can also be used, but it is not recommended because it does not support all of the FUNNEL functions.)

FUNNEL is very intuitive and extremely easy to learn and use. FUNNEL training is provided with the implementation of every client project. Typically, 2 two-hour training sessions is all that is required for most clients to feel completely comfortable with maintaining their own web sites themselves. FUNNEL also comes with Online Help that will help walk you through just about anything you may be looking to do, so FUNNEL clients are never without additional help if they need it.

Even if you have not logged into the system in some time, you should still find it easy to use FUNNEL because the system has been designed to be very intuitive. Additionally, ongoing support is provided to FUNNEL users in a number of ways:

1. tool tips and other help notes are scattered throughout the administrative interface in meaningful places.
2. FUNNEL online help is always available.
3. Often a 15 min refresher course on the phone is all it takes. Please contact your provider for more details.

The search feature in FUNNEL is extremely good; it provides site visitors with the ability to search for content from two sources:

1. Site content. Search results will display links to all page content where the search term is present.
2. Page Metadata: you can refine search results by including common search terms in page metadata.

FUNNEL is very SEO friendly. It has been designed to support the technical requirements of all the major search engines, and will support any organization’s SEO efforts.

FUNNEL is upgraded continuously with 2 major and at least 2 minor releases per year. Customized upgrades are also offered to existing clients. The costs for additional upgrades will, of course, depend on the nature of the upgrade requested and the service agreement in place with that client.

FUNNEL recommends Google Analytics for measuring web site traffic. This service is extremely thorough and provides very detailed reporting on almost all aspects of site traffic – completely free of charge. For clients using the FUNNEL intranet module, intranet visitor statistics are provided directly by FUNNEL.
